Professional Training
REBT / CBT TRAINING at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Institute of Southern California.
Affiliated training center of the Albert Ellis Institute, NYC
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy training at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Institute of Southern California is the first and only training center for REBT in California that is affiliated to the Albert Ellis Institute in New York The training center was developed by Paul DePompo, Psy.D., ABPP (a Native New Yorker) who was inspired to increase the awareness and training of REBT/ CBT and evidence-based practices on the west coast.
One of the main aims of our training center is to increase therapy outcomes by teaching clinicians how to help their clients to reach their goals in a quicker and more effective manner that will lead to long-term results far after therapy is complete. This is done by learning and strengthening REBT skills, utilizing evidence-based practices for client problems and utilizing collaborative case-conceptualization which is all the heart of current REBT practice.
We promote REBT/CBT through workshops for the public, professional training, conducting research furthering evidence-based REBT/CBT practices, and accredited supervision for clinicians.
