Depression

Depression sufferers have an overall negative view of themselves, the world outside them, and what is likely to happen to them in the future. People with depression may experience a lack of interest and pleasure in daily activities, significant weight loss or gain, insomnia or excessive sleeping, lack of energy, inability to concentrate, feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt and recurrent thoughts of death or suicide. Fortunately, depression is treatable. Decades of research shows cognitive behavioral therapy decreases the likelihood of relapse follow a course of cognitive therapy.
